This Privacy Policy explains how Diam Tao (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you use diamtao.com.sg or contact us, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). By using our website or placing an order, you consent to us handling your personal data as described here.

1. Personal Data We Collect

When you place an order or create an account: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and order history.
When you contact us: your name, email address and message (via our “Get in Touch” form), or your chat details when you message us on WhatsApp or Telegram.
Payments: payments are processed by our payment provider, HitPay. We do not receive or store your full card details.
Technical data: your IP address and browser information, collected through cookies needed to run the website (see section 5).

2. How We Use Your Data

To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds
To send order confirmations and delivery updates, including delivery tracking links
To respond to your enquiries
To manage your account, if you create one
To keep our website secure and prevent fraud
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

3. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it where needed to run our service, with:

our payment provider (HitPay), to process your payment
our delivery management system (Detrack) and delivery team, to deliver your order and send tracking updates
our website hosting provider (Hostinger)
our email service provider (Google), which handles order and enquiry emails

We may also disclose personal data where required by law.

4. Transfers Outside Singapore

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run our cart, checkout and account login. Embedded content on our website, such as Google Maps and our Instagram and TikTok feeds, may set its own cookies under those providers’ privacy policies.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work properly.

6. How We Protect Your Data

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted (SSL) connections on our website and restricting access to staff and service providers who need it.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as required for legal, tax or accounting reasons. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Your Rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent for us to use it. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If we need more than 30 days, we will let you know within 30 days when we expect to respond. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests, and will tell you the fee before processing your request.

If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to fulfil your orders or provide some services.
